Terms of Service

VEDEO generates short-form videos from text you provide. You choose an idea, a style, a length and a format; we write a script, produce narration, select footage, time captions and compose a finished video you can download.

Generation is automated and probabilistic. Two runs of the same idea will not produce identical videos, and we do not promise any particular creative outcome, level of quality, or performance on any social platform.

• You must provide an accurate email address and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and at least 13.
• One person, one account — accounts created to obtain repeated benefits may be suspended.

Generating a video consumes credits. The cost is shown before you start, and depends on the length and the number of variants you request.

• Credits are reserved when you start a generation and charged only when it produces a usable video.
• If a generation fails, is cancelled before rendering begins, or finishes without producing a video, the reservation is released and you are not charged.
• Once rendering has started, a generation cannot be cancelled for a refund — the work and its cost have already been incurred.
• Credits carry over month to month while your subscription is active. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for money.
• Every movement of credit is recorded in an immutable ledger you can review on your billing page.

• Paid plans renew monthly and grant credits when each renewal payment succeeds.
• Credit packs are an optional top-up for subscribers on a paid plan, for months where you need more than your plan includes.
• Payment is handled by our payment processor under its own terms; we never see or store your card details.
• Prices may change. We will give notice before a change affects a renewal you have already begun.
• Failed payments may suspend generation until the payment succeeds.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access and any remaining credits until then.

We do not generally refund partial periods or unused credits. Where consumer law in your country gives you a right to a refund, that right applies regardless of this paragraph.

• You keep ownership of the ideas, prompts and scripts you supply.
• As between you and us, the videos you generate are yours to use, including commercially.
• Footage, music and voices sourced from third-party libraries remain subject to those libraries' licences, which permit the use VEDEO makes of them. You should not assume you hold exclusive rights to any stock element that appears in your video.
• You grant us only the permission we need to operate the service — to process your content in order to generate, store and deliver your videos to you.
• We do not use your content to train models, and we do not publish it.

You agree not to use VEDEO to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive or abusive content, and not to interfere with the operation of the service. Our Acceptable Use policy sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.

We aim to keep VEDEO available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, change features, or place reasonable limits on usage to protect the platform. If we make a materially adverse change to a paid plan, you may cancel.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or our Acceptable Use policy, or where we are required to by law. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to put things right. You may close your account at any time.

The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost content. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

We may update these terms. The current version is always published here with its revision date. If a change is material we will give notice before it takes effect, and continuing to use VEDEO afterwards means you accept it.
